Shalem’s title was included – together with 17 others, together with Hogeg’s – in an appendix to a doc bearing the letterhead of the Israel police’s nationwide fraud investigation unit. The web page, reviewed by CoinDesk, was stamped Nov. 15 by Decide Erez Melamed of the Rishon Lezion Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom. It’s not clear from the appendix what sort of doc it was hooked up to. Nonetheless, the date on the stamp is three days earlier than Israeli police mentioned that they had arrested eight people, including Hogeg, on suspicion of cash laundering, fraud and sexual assault.
